The house von Ferdinand is a house outcast, because of their involvement at the Fall of the Second Republic. Acting on Decados intelligence, they attacked Byzantium Secundus grasping for power. Yet, Karl von Ferdinand, the ruler of the House, an intelligent and wise man. The opportunity to take Byzantium Secundus was too good to pass up, but he was well aware of the consequences of a failure. He was aware that the Decados were offering the secret intelligence and support knowing that they want to wash their hands. Knowing some of the blackmails of the Decados, including how they pressured some other Houses to join the attack, he made a deal with the Decados. They take a half a dozen nobles of House Ferdinand into their House and hide them even in the case the Rouge Houses attacks fails.
