Secondary Transponder
While modifying a transponder is possible, these modifications are easily noticed and may damage the engines (due to their role in generating the signal). Adding a new transponder is a better solution, as the original transponder may be shut-off.

It can be installed onto any starship.
Base Modifier: Switch to secondary transponder with an action and an Average (2 difficulty) Computers check. When installed, determine name and details of false identity (ship must be of the same class and similar model). Detecting discrepancies requires a Daunting (4 difficulty) Computers check.
Mod Options: 1x “Activate secondary transponder as maneuver.”, 3x “Add 1 additional ship identity.”
